Michigan Historical Museum, Lansing
Visit with archaeologists in the galleries of the museum. Learn about native peoples, settlers and shipwrecks. See displays about archaeological digs and underwater archaeology in Michigan. Watch a flintknapper demonstrate the making of stone tools and projectile points. Participate in hands-on activities for the family.
Most activities are ongoing from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Special features include scheduled slide/talks in the Forum Auditorium. The schedule of events for 2004 willl be announced on this page in early September.
