Nina replica in Palmetto

PALMETTO - A replica of the Nina, described by Archaeology magazine as "the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built," is expected to dock at Palmetto's Regatta Pointe Marina from Wednesday-Jan. 11.
The public can visit the ship during the day from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for $5 per adult, $4 per senior citizen and $3 for students. Children 4 and under are admitted free.
Teachers or groups wishing to schedule a 30-minute guided group tour (minimum of 15 people) with a crew member can call 787-421-0402 or e-mail columfnd@surfbvi.com.
