__________________________________________________________________________________

National Trust

6 Monday evening lectures
7 February - 21 March

The series has a maritime theme, and each lecture takes place in the Purcell Room of the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank.

Prestigious speakers provide illustrated talks on areas of their own expertise and experience, from the filming of the BBC TV series Blue Planet, to the secrets of underwater archaeology.

14 March - Alexzandra Hildred - Wrecked: Our Underwater Heritage
Alex was previously the Site Director of the Mary Rose Trust and now works as Curator of Ordinance and as a consultant. As an accomplished underwater archaeologist whose work on British and international wrecks is extensive, she is well placed to show us that maritime heritage is as rich below the waves as those vessels that still sail on the surface.

Further detailsTicket prices are £8 per lecture, or all 6 lectures for £40.

Each lecture starts at 6pm, and is held in the Purcell Lecture Theatre in the South Bank complex in London.

Tickets will be available from the Royal Festival Hall Box Office on 08703 800 400 (9:30 am - 9pm), or online at www.rfh.org.uk.
