Great Lakes Underwater Event Next Week

The Oswego Maritime Foundation and New York Sea Grant will present their 10th annual historic shipwreck and diving event, “Great Lakes Underwater,” from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., April 8. Sign in begins at 8:30 a.m. It will take place in Lanigan Hall on the SUNY Oswego campus.
There will be presentations by Frederick Stonehouse, author of “Rum Running and Red Lights,” and by Chris Kohl, author of “Shipwreck Tales of the Great Lakes.”
Also on the schedule are booksignings by Dave Gilchrist, “Prehistoric Shoreline Project of Georgian Bay,” and Joe Zarzynski, “Reflections on the Lost Radeau Documentary.”
Registration also includes a buffet lunch and refreshments.
